What it costs to send bitcoin right now, in sat/vB and in dollars, and how today compares with the past 7 days. Fee rates come from mempool.space and are fetched straight from your browser. No wallet connection and no addresses are needed. Estimates, not a guarantee, and not financial advice.

Card payments have no network fee. If you pay with bitcoin, our checkout shows an exact BTC amount to send. Your wallet adds the network fee on top, so the fee is not part of the price. A payment counts as on time when it is sent within the quote's 30-minute window, whatever fee you choose; delivery happens after 1 confirmation, so a no-rush fee only means a longer wait for your license key or download. Use at least the no-rush rate so the payment is relayed. Products: Daily Edge Pro · Agent-Economy Weekly · Backtest Toolkit Pro · Everything bundle · Compare plans.
Bitcoin fees are paid per virtual byte (vB) of transaction size, not per dollar sent. A typical payment from a single-signature Native SegWit wallet spends 1 coin and creates 2 outputs (the payee and your change), about 141 vB. More inputs (spending many small coins) make it bigger; Taproot inputs are smaller and Legacy ones much larger. Cost = fee rate × size, converted at the BTC/USD price from mempool.space.
The four speeds are mempool.space's recommended rates for the next block, about 3 blocks, about 6 blocks and a no-rush rate. "Compared with the past 7 days" uses the median fee rate of each block mined in the last week; the cheapest time of day groups those blocks by hour in your time zone. If mempool.space can't be reached, current rates come from Blockstream's public API instead, or from the last data this browser saw. Fees can rise quickly when many people transact at once, so your wallet's estimate at the moment you send is the final word.
This planner covers bitcoin network fees, paid to miners when you send coins on-chain. Exchange trading fees (maker, taker and the spread) are a different cost: work yours out with the trading fee calculator, or read crypto trading fees explained.
If you track coins you already hold, the portfolio tracker reads public BTC, ETH and SOL addresses straight from your browser, with no wallet connection. Why track a portfolio without connecting a wallet explains the privacy trade-off.
