Work out how big a position is if you only want to lose a fixed share of your account at your stop. Nothing is sent anywhere; your last inputs stay in this browser. Educational only, not financial advice.
Fill in the form and press Calculate.
Position size = (account × risk %) ÷ (distance from entry to stop + round-trip fees per unit). Stop below entry means a long, above means a short. Liquidation is a rough isolated-margin estimate (entry × (1 ∓ 1/leverage ± 0.5%)); each exchange calculates it differently. Dig deeper with the liquidation & leverage calculator. To see what a given risk % does over many trades (losing streaks, drawdowns, the chance of ruin), try the risk of ruin calculator. See the leverage guide and R-multiple. Practise the trade risk-free in Paper.

Account $10,000, risk 1% ($100), entry $50,000, stop $48,000, fee 0.1% per side. Risk per BTC = 2,000 + 0.1% × (50,000 + 48,000) = $2,098. Size = 100 ÷ 2,098 ≈ 0.0477 BTC (about $2,383 notional). Leverage changes only the margin you post, not this size. Load this example.
That's your decision, and this isn't advice. The risk of ruin calculator shows what a given percentage does over a losing streak.
The calculator infers it: a stop below the entry is a long, and a stop above it is a short.
